Rapid prototyping is a group of techniques used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or an assembly using three-dimensional computer aided design (CAD) data. We have the possibility to produce prototypes in plastic or using a CNC mill in foam or wood.
On behalf of Kolbjorn Helland and Andrea Eugster we have got a contract to build at least 3 kayaks. The technology of building a kayak resembles the method of building a boat, and it might turn out that 2 kayaks can be used for the prototype of a kiteboat.
To produce kayaks, we have built our own CNC mill which we intend to sell as DIY kit, both to hobbyists and professionals. We are currently in the tests phase.
We are conducting some other projects at the moment too, however we would like to reveal them when the right time comes.
